Good morning, Watermans! I hope you all are digesting peacefully after last night’s Thanksgiving feast. Thank you again to Jonathan, Carrie and kids for hosting. I would have been happy to have all 17 of us at my house like usual, but trying a new tradition this year was a fun experiment! Speaking of tradition…
IT’S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!!!!!!! HO HO HO SANTA’S ON HIS WAY!
I’d like to get a headcount for the 25th this year. I insist we have it at my house (as we have every year!) because I have a newly remodeled kitchen island I’m itching to show off.
Please RSVP by Sunday evening and let me know what you’ll be bringing. I’ll need plenty of time to put the order in at the butcher for the appropriate-sized ham. We don’t want to repeat the Hamzaster of 2011.
Merry Christmas!
Pam

Thanks Jonathan for such a fun day! So refreshing to do something new and this year!

I’ll be there with bells on and cookies.
Jonathan and Carrie, I’m still thinking about last night’s delectable cocktails. You two are a couple of Martha Stewarts!
Beth, we get it. Your son goes to Stanford. Also, you mean Parks, not Park’s. Your family is not possessing anything. It’s a plural.

“It’s” is correct. It’s a contraction for “it is,” and its is possessive. I will send you a link privately to my favorite Facebook grammar page. Sounds like you need a refresher!
